Secure accreditation

WHS Halo’s unique double rebate composite door sets are now accredited to PAS 23 and PAS 24. These are the British Standards for the general performance and enhanced security performance of external doors.

To obtain this accreditation the doors had to undergo an extensive and often brutal test programme, including simulated attack by a burglar.

Sales and marketing director Dave Mulholland said: “The PAS 23/24 accreditation is fantastic, but it is only part of the story. The double rebate doors provide such exceptional thermal insulation, they can be used on projects requiring up to Level 6 of the Code for Sustainable Homes. They are also available in an extensive range of colours and styles. So it seems we have everything covered: security, performance, the environment and aesthetics.”
