Composite sales soar

Phoenix Door Panels reports soaring sales of its popular composite doors throughout August, with more than 150 doors sold each week for the first three weeks of the month. Ten extra people have also been recruited at the Cambridgeshire-based company to cope with demand.

Commenting on the recession-bucking trend, national sales manager Haydon Statham said: “Sales have exceeded all our expectations as we weren’t predicting these numbers until spring 2010, so this is fantastic.” He attributes the buoyant results to strong demand, mainly from their existing customers in the domestic door replacement market.

Available in seven colours and seven styles with myriad glazing options, any Phoenix Door Panels composite door design can be delivered within ten working days on the company’s own transport, wherever possible. Customer choice has now been expanded further with the addition of side panel combinations and exciting new glazing styles.
