Window and door sealing fully covered

ISO-Chemie has introduced its iso³ system for the high performance sealing of windows, doors and conservatories.
 
The iso³ system is based around the European RAL principles of three level sealing – the inside seals are more airtight than the external ones, allowing any trapped moisture behind the joint, or within the wall, to escape outwards rather than into the building.
 
The external seal provides weather resistance and breathability, while the intermediate seal provides extra thermal and acoustic properties and the internal one air tightness and humidity regulation. All three levels are designed to accommodate movement between the adjacent materials.
 
Tapes featured in the iso³ system have been tested to comply with all the appropriate legal regulations and standards and can be used to provide quick and effective ‘fit and forget’ perimeter seals for both weather and air tightness, while still remaining permeable to trapped water and water vapour – similar to a flexible breathable style material.
 
Products featured within the system include the ISO-Connect Vario SD humidity regulating special foil, and the ISO-Bloco range of pre-compressed 600 PUR impregnated foam tapes.
