Steel sash weights added

Window and door hardware distributor SEALCO has added Endurance steel sash weights, said to be half the price per pound of traditional lead sash weights.

Sales Director Alan Malcolm said:“More homeowners are looking to refurbish the original sliding sash windows in Victorian properties. Endurance steel sash weights are pre-cut in 50 versions to suit various sash sizes, so all the joiner has to do on-site is add the cord.

“Once customers let us know the dimensions of the window, we’ll calculate the weights needed, and we can deliver them to you, anywhere in mainland UK.”

As well as weights, the range includes pulley wheels, cord, sash fasteners, weatherseals and glazing putty replacement, all under the Endurance brand.
