Oliver wants some more votes

Oliver Bailey, Glazerite Windows Limited Junior Purchasing Assistant, is in the running for Young Person of the Year at the National Fenestration Awards 2015.

As the youngest member of the Glazerite team, in just 12 months since joining on an apprenticeship fresh out of school Oliver has proven his abilities time and time again and is now managing a budget of nearly £2.5 million.

“He’s taken to the role like a duck to water,” said Glazerite Director Jason Thompson. “We had never employed an apprentice before so we were a little apprehensive at first and not sure what to expect. However, from the very first interview we could see the huge potential in Oliver.”

The National Fenestration Awards is the industry’s fastest growing, independent and exciting awards event. Launched in 2013 and now into its third year, the awards are run and decided completely by the participation of the industry, arguably the most rewarding way to be recognised.
