BIM video goes online

Leading architectural aluminium systems supplier Kawneer has released an online video showing how to incorporate one of its BIM models, hosted on the bimstore website, into a building design.

The 10-minute step-by-step guide provides specifiers with a complete walkthrough of how to incorporate the company’s AA®541 casement window into a typical project, including into curtain walling. Viewers are shown how to download the BIM component in Revit (IFC files are available on request) from its website and how to select desired types, copy to clipboard and paste into the drawing. Details regarding ironmongery and colour options are also shown.
