RAISING A ‘GLAZE’ TO AWARDS SUCCESS
16th October 2012
Bespoke architectural glazing company, Spooner Brothers, has been shortlisted for a national award for its work for Help for Heroes in Tidworth, Wiltshire. Spooner Brothers has been working for the charity for over six months, renovating a derelict building which will become a state-of-the-art sports complex, part of a new rehabilitation facility for wounded war heroes.
The company is up against two large national firms for the Glass and Glazing Industry’s annual G12 Awards in the ‘Public Sector Project of the Year’ category.
Director Phil Spooner said “We’ve really enjoyed the Help for Heroes project and are thrilled to have reached the national finals with it! Winning this award would add to our growing reputation for providing a high quality, professional service.”
The winner will be announced on Friday 23 November at the G12 Awards Presentation and Gala Dinner in London. This is the glass and glazing industry’s Oscar night and this year it will be hosted by comedian Patrick Kielty.
