When the Polyframe Group acquired the assets of a Norwich fabricator in, it had no customers, an empty order book, a few people and some ageing machinery. Now Polyframe Norwich has passed £10million sales from making 3,000 frames a week in the three years to 2014, the company has announced.
Polyframe invested heavily in the Norwich factory, buying three key machines for more than £1.5 million, it now employs over 100 people and makes all Polyframe’s Rehau S706 and Edge windows and doors for the group’s nationwide customer base.
Nick Dutton, Polyframe CEO, said: “I think we’ve shown that the market will respond to a quality product delivered with excellent service and comprehensive support. We’ve helped many small-to-medium sized fabricators stop fabricating so they can concentrate on selling and installing. It’s something Polyframe specialises in, and this growth suggests that the way we do it works very well.”
