‘Mass market first’

AVANTIS INTERNATIONAL brought Kubu, which it describes as the first mass market Smart lock, to the FIT Show, where the stand was kitted out with both fully connected door and window displays.

CEO Mark Bromley said: “FIT Show was the perfect opportunity to showcase Kubu’s latest developments. We have partnered with Ring Doorbell, so this can be offered to installers at a trade price along with Kubu. Additionally, Kubu will soon be available for windows, so homeowners can get peace of mind that their whole home is locked and secure – not just the front door.

“Our FIT Show stand was all about going beyond Smart and getting completely connected – and that’s exactly what we did at FIT. Late Night Tuesday was a great opportunity to invite our supplier partners, exhibitors and visitors to join us for a beer. We also had the fantastic band, ‘The Jetters’ playing some tunes and we decamped to the PiGs stand party to catch up with more industry friends. The evening ended with a superb sing-along, showing just how connected our industry is.”
