Heavers of Bridport Sells More with Super Spacer

South West based Fabricator-Installer Heavers of Bridport is now offering A, B and C energy rated windows through Edgetech’s Super Spacer Dealership. Managing Director Malcolm Heaver is convinced that the company remains ahead of its competition because it is the only manufacturer in its general area that can offer energy rated windows as standard and at a reasonable price. Malcolm explains: “Having looked into energy ratings in 2006, we found some combinations of Warm Edge Technology and glazing were going to cost too much. But buying units from Edgetech Super Spacer IGU manufacturing Dealership, Seleda Quality Units, we can offer B rated windows at no extra cost and A rated windows for just a small extra charge. I could see the benefit of energy ratings as soon as they were introduced, but finding a commercially viable option took a bit more research. We visited Seleda as we would any new supplier – we believe if a factory is tidy, generally speaking, so is the product – and we were impressed with the fully automated line which seals the units vertically which means little or no deflection, something many manufacturers overlook.
