AluK was host to the latest IFO Academy training course at its base in Chepstow, where twenty six delegates were offered training and updates to the latest, sixteenth edition, of the QUALICOAT standard.

Together with theoretical study, candidates reviewed up to date testing practices and equipment.  The one day training course was completed with a tour of the extensive AluK facility.

IFO, based in the Netherlands, are the appointed independent inspectorate for QUALICOAT UK & Ireland, Mark Holz of IFO has set up the ‘IFO Academy’ specifically for the training of laboratory technicians.
