Windowlink’s new orangery design-to-sell software is enabling specialist retail installer Crystal Window Systems in Poynton, Cheshire to produce sales-winning presentations for its stunning range of orangeries.

The program has been customised by Windowlink to feature all the design options that Crystal can offer, including the different sizes and styles of orangery roof. Using the software, Crystal’s design team can now show customers an accurate representation of their finished orangery on screen and in detailed drawings.

Having successfully used Windowlink Focus and Vector software for selling windows, doors and conservatories for many years, Crystal’s MD Tony Wooderson was keen to try the new Vector program specially tailored to orangeries. He said: “Orangeries demand expertise in construction as well as PVC-U and with this latest addition to Windowlink’s software suite we can demonstrate the structural detail involved in designing a true orangery solution, rather than simply showing a conservatory roof on top of brick columns – and that’s a really valuable sales tool when selling this type of premium product.”

Crystal is currently using the orangery software as a standalone sales presentation system with a view to adding a personalised pricing module based, to be developed by Windowlink, based on manufacturing costs and Crystal’s retail pricing structure. Once this is up and running, the installer will be able to produce accurate, fully costed quotations for orangery designs at the click of a button.
