DoorStop has said that installers have got another two days to order their doors in time Christmas – two days longer than the Royal Mail guaranteeing delivery in time for Christmas

Nick Dutton, managing director of Door-Stop said: “It’s not often our industry can claim a victory over a consumer logistic giant. Even with its vast network of 113,000 post boxes, 14,300 post offices and 30,000 vehicles, the Royal Mail’s delivery cut off point is earlier than Door-Stop’s.

“Any customer who orders a door before 10am this Thursday is guaranteed to get their door before Christmas. We’ve seen a big surge in sales across our 2,000+ installers who are using this as a neat marketing tool to end the year on a high with money in the bank.

“Look at this way – you could have sent a Christmas present to your customer today, and order the Door-Stop door tomorrow for the Postman to pop it through. Next year, we’re hoping to take on Santa’s logistics!”
