A ‘better-known’ shootbolt system
14th July 2015

Veka trade fabricator MODPLAN is changing its shootbolt locking system on its casement profile ranges to Yale at no additional cost.

Sales Manager Chris Reeks said:“Whilst the current system has proven to be a robust and reliable product, the introduction of the Yale shootbolt locking system will bring a product name to the market that is better known to the general public.”

He adds, “To add further value to our customers’ marketing, every Yale shootbolt is covered by the free Yale Secure Scheme, which safeguards homeowners’ insurance excess should they be victim to a break-in through the window.”
The system has Secured By Design and PAS 24 accreditations and comes with a ten year mechanical guarantee and a ten year security guarantee.

The Yale shootbolt locking system will be available on Modplan’s Matrix 58mm, Matrix 70mm and Fully Sculptured products in the coming weeks. The change will mean the company’s choice of lock on its casement windows will match the Yale door locking system used on its single and double doors.
