Reliable reviews – ‘we ask the homeowner’

There have been a number of trade press articles recently questioning the validity of company review websites. The Federation of Master Builders (FBM), in particular, has called for customers to be vigilant - in response to an investigation by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).

Questions have begun to buzz around the industry: can homeowners trust online reviews? Can these comments and ratings be too easily fabricated? Can positive reviews be promoted while negative comments are swept under the carpet?
