Trade counter group grows with Midlands acquisition – and announces Newport branch move

Growing trade counter network NATIONAL PLASTICS is a step nearer to its goal of 50 depots in the next few years with the acquisition of the former PAL Supercentre in Wednesbury.

The move, which takes the network up to 29 outlets, continues an unprecedented period of growth, said Managing Director, Geoff Foster: “With the new Wednesbury base we've fortified our position in the West Midlands, further extending National Plastics' values of superior quality products, great value and exemplary service throughout the area.

The network is a prominent outlet for the Veka door and window systems from Gwent based fabricator Modplan and holds Veka Approved Supplier status.

Meanwhile, Network Veka’s brand ambassador Steve Davis is to make an appearance when the group’s Newport branch holds an open day on Thursday, Aug 6 to mark its relocation to Albany Street Industrial Estate.

The event will also include special offers, a prize draw, product demonstrations from suppliers and a number of other promotions.
