New role of Ops Manager

Nottingham-based STORMCLAD has appointed Steve Spooner to the new role of Operations Manager.

Steve has over 30 years’ experience in installations. He will be responsible for the overall operations of the company across installations, surveying, customer service, fleet and premises.

Steve said: “Stormclad is a great Nottingham success story and it’s a fantastic opportunity for me to join such a professional firm, and use my specialist experience to manage the day-to day operations of the business as well as grow its commercial market.”

Managing Director Clyde Scothern said: “The operations manager role is a new position created as part of Stormclad’s ambitious growth strategy.

“We continue to experience year on year growth and wanted to further strengthen our senior management team to ensure our excellent standards are maintained as we grow, as well as to expand our commercial department.”

Steve’s hire follows the recent addition of three other employees the latter part of 2016. Amy Miller joined as customer service and survey administrator, Harpreet Sembi as ordering and processing administrator and India Marsh as accounts assistant and administration.

Stormclad has it head office is in New Basford, Nottingham and two home improvement centres, at Brookfields Garden Centre, Mapperley and Wheatcroft Garden Centre, Edwalton.
