Sales through the roof at Four Seasons
14th February 2012

The last 12 months has been a record period for trade conservatory roof sales at Four Seasons Conservatories UK Ltd. Now manufacturing over 50 roofs per week the final quarter of 2011 saw sales turnover up 20% year on year.

Commenting on the reasons for bucking the trend in this current economic climate, Four Seasons’ general manager Gareth Matusevics said: “During the last year we have continued to grow the business. In addition to glazed conservatory roofs we also offer the Guardian solid roof which has the look of tiles. This is proving very popular as it is suitable for both new build and retro-fit projects. During the last 12 months the business has also been diversifying. We have made a substantial investment in new machinery for the fabrication of aluminium windows, doors and bi-folding doors. This means we can be a total supplier to our customers.

"Retaining our levels of quality and service throughout this growth period was essential. Our sales and order processing team had an extensive training programme. This also enabled us to streamline our internal processes, improve efficiency and reduce the cost of sales. All these advancements have direct benefits to our customers.”

Four Seasons’ pro-active approach to sales has helped increase its customer base and reduce its commercial exposure - a business model which could benefit many companies in the industry.
