Clare O’Hara has taken on the mantle of Managing Director of Epwin Group Window Systems with a pledge of 100% commitment to the group’s brands, adding firmly:
“…contrary to what some people may think.”
O’Hara, who joins from Grouphomesafe and will oversee Profile 22, Spectus and Swish Windows & Doors as well as PatioMaster and Safeware, went on: “We like the fact that we have three systems; it gives us flexibility. We are able to offer our customers a choice between three separate, very distinct systems with a solid product offering.”
Speaking exclusively to The Glazine, she explained her stance: “After my first few weeks in the role, meeting with customers and listening to what they had to say, it came back loud and clear that they are aligned to our brands.
“Their loyalty is clearly demonstrated; we’ve got customers who have been with us 30 years, and we want to honour that loyalty. These long-standing, valued partnerships are key to a shared success. That’s why I am 100% committed to all of our systems and brands.”
In the announcement of her appointment, she also affirmed the group’s plans for new products as well as significant investment across all areas – R&D, production, operations and personnel – in the next 12 months, and outlined her overall goal: “I’m here to drive important changes for customers and develop new products. In terms of tonnage we are the industry number one but I want us to be a market leader in every sense of the term; it’s a challenge but one that I relish.”
Prior to Grouphomesafe, where she was Group Sales Director, she was with SIG and Masco UK Window Group.
