Sony has a Grand Design on Smart-Tint

Smart-Tint Switchable Glass will be displayed as a key feature in the Sony House of the Future at Grand Designs Live, which runs from April 25 to May 4.

Smart-Tint Switchable Glass switches from opaque to clear in less than a second via a low voltage power pack, allowing homeowners or commercial environments a choice from crystal clear vision or complete privacy, whenever it is needed.

This year at Grand Designs Live Sony’s House of the Future will feature an entire wall of Smart-Tint Switchable Glass.

According to Scott Nicholas, managing director of Smart-Tint manufacturers Reflex Glass, “We have again this year been asked to be one of the sponsors of the Sony House of the Future. Smart-Tint will be one of the products of the future on display but this time they will be making more of a focus with it because it generated so much excitement last year.”
