New oak window from Jeld-Wen

Jeld-Wen has added an oak window to its range.

The new oak Stormsure from Jeld-Wen is manufactured using engineered oak, giving it all the benefits of a high performance, robust window, combined with the good looks associated with this striking timber finish. 

Pre-finished with a clear lacquer, the oak Stormsure offers very low U-values and comes with 24mm low-e insulated glass units as standard, which increase the energy performance in the colder months, while reflecting heat back into the room in winter.

Vicky Severn, product manager for Jeld-Wen, said: “The new window is perfect for homes in conservation areas, or where developers are trying to create a distinctive look. Oak really does exude an authentic and luxurious feel and we are expecting this to be one of our most popular windows to be released this year.”

Jeld-Wen’s Oak windows are manufactured from FSC Chain of Custody Certified timber. This system of certification ensures that the timber can be traced from its source and that it originates from sustainable, well-managed forests.

Jeld-Wen’s new Oak windows are available nationally through most leading builders’ merchants and DIY stores, and can be complemented by the new Oregon Oak internal doors range.
