Andrew Glover, the West Yorkshire Windows MD who recently stepped down as Chairman of the GGF (see story), has been appointed to the committee of GM Fundraising as successor to Bohle MD Dave Broxton who announced his resignation from the committee last month (see story).
Gary Morton said of the appointment: “Andrew has been an active supporter of GM Fundraising for the last 8 years or so, completing four of the six rides and attending most of our events. He will bring a new fresh element and energy to our fundraising. We are honoured to have him on-board.”
Andrew replied: “I’ve wanted to be more actively involved with the work of GM Fundraising for a while, and the departure of Brocko provided the perfect opportunity for me to offer my time to Gary and the rest of the team. I have always supported GM Fundraising and enjoy everything they do. I have some great ideas to bring to the table and look forward to working with the team on the upcoming GMF Cup and Gala Dinner.
Gary concluded “Alongside the current committee of myself, Alan Sadler of Profix, Adrian Barraclough of Quickslide, Susie Sinden of Brouha Marketing, Alison Marsh of Hope House, and now with the addition of Andrew, we will have a fresh injection of energy to take us to our next target of £2million.”
