Machinery first for Liniar fabricator
13th January 2015

A Liniar fabricator has become the first in the UK to install the new Supercut 5 machining centre from Wegoma, allowing them to double their output and manufacture frames more efficiently than ever before.

Flintshire based Rooms and Views are fast becoming one the region’s most ‘in-demand’ fabricators and they invested circa £200k in the Supercut 5 so they can manufacture larger volumes whilst still offering the same high-end quality their customers have come to expect.

Simon Lomax, Operations Director of Rooms and Views comments on the industry first: “We’ve been experiencing incredible demand here at Rooms and Views for some time and with volumes continuing to increase, we decided we needed to re-look at our manufacturing procedures and make some changes. After assessing the machinery market we became aware of the Supercut 5 from Wegoma and were so impressed we decided to make the investment. The machine has only been operational for a few weeks but it has already made a huge difference. Frames are being produced faster than ever and the factory is running like clockwork, we are experiencing demand like never before.”

The investment in Supercut 5 is the latest stage in Rooms and Views growth strategy. The long established new-build fabricator is starting to become much more active in the trade sector and the new machine will allow them to continue to supply new-build clients as well as accommodate increasing demand from installers.

Rooms and Views fabricates windows and doors using the Liniar system including the company’s recently launched Mod-lock bi-fold, the PVC-u bi-fold that is a genuine rival to aluminium, and the new Liniar flush sash casement. Installers buying from Rooms and Views can expect quality products, marketing and technical support and a swift turnaround from receipt of order.
