VS addition
12th November 2019

QUICKSLIDE has launched the Legacy VS window, based on the Spectus vertical slider system, with three choices of corner and four additional standard woodgrains.

Other features of the window, said by Chairman Adrian Barraclough to be the result of over two years’ researching the market, include authentic ovolo shape to frame, bead, sash and cill with detail customisations including Georgian bars, run through sash horns, external weather bars, deep bottom rail and traditional styled flush gaskets.

Sales and marketing director Tom Swallow said: “We take care to choose suppliers we can rely on to deliver the right level of service, investment and support. We know from our existing relationship with Epwin Window Systems that that’s exactly what we’ll get.”

Katrina Earl, Head of Sales at Epwin Window Systems, added: “Quickslide is an expert in the sliding sash window market and they have the most exacting standards when it comes to authenticity and performance.”

The Legacy will be available with a choice of standard weld, seamless Graf weld or fully mechanical timber-look butt joints, and six woolpile seal colours. It can achieve Window Energy Ratings of Band A when glazed with 24mm IGUs.
The system also adds a further four standard woodgrains, Agate Grey, English Oak, Nut Tree and Smooth Grey to Quickslide’s existing offer.
