46 new homes

Two new council housing developments in Cumbernauld, Nursery Court and Cardowan Drive have been completed to give 46 new homes to local residents with windows and doors manufactured and installed by Walker Profiles.

Director Jim Gibson said “All windows and doors were manufactured and fitted to the Secured by Design specification. Our teams installed white Rehau Total 70 tilt and turn PVCu windows. We complemented the windows with white GRP composite doors.”

The contractor for the build was Lovell, who Walker Profiles has worked with regularly on a variety of developments throughout North Lanarkshire, both new build housing and window replacement to tower blocks as part of an over-cladding project. Currently Walker Profiles is working on a new build development of 37 units at Wester Inch, Bathgate for the provision of affordable housing to West Lothian Council.
