MERCURY GLAZING SUPPLIES is reporting a 19% year on year increase in aluminium sales, which the company largely attributes to the Smart’s Visofold bifold door.

Sales and marketing director Chris Reeks said: “Watch any home design programme and you are sure to see a Bifolding door.  Because of their construction and ease of use, Bifold doors are ideal for both homes and commercial properties that want to turn the outside space into another useable room.

Just take a look at the recent installation by our customer Future Rooms with one of their bespoke garden rooms The popularity of our Bifold door is showing little signs of slowing down with larger more complex doors being the order of the day.”

Mercury has been fabricating the Smart’s Visofold 1000 Bifold since 2013 and is delighted by the integrity of the product. Chris added: “Our Smart’s Bifolds are manufactured using materials sourced solely from Smarts and adhere to their strict manufacturing requirements to ensure the product is fully warranted and meets with their own exacting standards.”
