Three awning systems

THE MILWOOD GROUP has kicked off the new year by officially launching its Heston range of three awning systems.

Each awning offers a choice of four standard colours and 16 colour combinations for the frame, plus 117 fabric colours. Operated by an electric motor, the three systems can be opened and closed with the touch of a button.

Managing director Mark Wood said: “The Heston range is designed with versatility, customisation and performance in mind, to ensure we deliver a range which meets the demands of the market and adds value to our customers offerings. The initial signs have been really positive, and we only see that continuing throughout the year.”

The Heston Light system offers a more compact solution with projections up to 3.6 metres and a span of six metres, while the Heston Flat and Pro systems give a slightly larger solution with 12-metre spans. The Pro can even achieve a reach of 4.3 metres out from the property.

Each system can be upgraded to include LED lighting on the cassette and arms. Customers can even choose to have speakers installed in the awning, which they can control using the dedicated companion app.

The new Heston range sits alongside the  cpmpany’s full range of awnings, verandas, canopies, pergolas and glass rooms. The Milwood range is manufactured in the UK using the Kent firm’s bespoke extrusions.

The group has also confirmed it will be returning to the FIT Show this year, showcasing its existing range as well as new additions, on Stand K70.

Mark Wood added: “The FIT Show is a great platform to really showcase our range to a cross-section of the industry and reveal some possible new additions too. Whilst our new project is still very much top secret, what we can reveal is that this new product range will take the Milwood Group in a bold, new direction and present a unique opportunity for tradespeople to reach new customers and extend their range.”
