Fundraising Extravaganza

FairTrades member, Birmingham based Finesse Windows, recently held a fundraising day for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. The fundraising was split into not one, but two events, held over the same day.

The event started with a coffee morning, where guests were asked to ‘guess the weight’, as well as, having the chance to enjoy the home-made cakes and coffee while admiring the impressive showroom.

The second part was a sophisticated wine tasting event held that evening, where guests could enjoy a glass of wine, or two, in finesse Windows new ‘liv-in room’. Finesse Windows even had a Smart Car to give away to one very lucky customer.

Russell Bridge, Joint Owner and Manager of Finesse Windows said ‘Held in honour of my father, David Bridge, the co-founder of our family business, our fundraising gala raised over £1800 to fund vital research and support for people affected by Motor Neurone Disease. We’d like to thank everyone who donated their time and money.’

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, that not only funds, but actively promotes global research into Motor Neurone Disease. It also provides support for people affected by the disease.

Douglas Graham, Director of Fundraising at the MND Association said: “It is fantastic to have such a community orientated company like Finesse Windows supporting us in working towards our vision of a world free of motor neurone disease (MND).
