Team Raises Money for Marie Curie

Tradelink is a manufacturer of windows, doors, sealed units and conservatories, and still finds time to regularly raise money for charity. This time Marie Curie Cancer Care received £140 from a Blooming Great Tea Party the company held in June.

“As well as selling cakes and biscuits, our Blooming Great Tea Party event included a non-uniform day where staff paid not to wear Tradelink branded workwear, a raffle and a competition,” says Bev Gant, one of the event organisers. “We try to hold charity events regularly to support as many good causes, which are important to different members of the Tradelink team, as possible.”

Marie Curie is an important charity that is dedicated to caring for people with all terminal illnesses, providing free practical care and emotional support at home or in one of its hospices. Its nurses cover around 95% of the UK. The charity is also a leader in research into the best ways of caring for people with terminal illnesses.
