Following their dazzling display of composite door innovation at the FIT Show, Solidor are now turning their attentions to Grand Designs Live later this year, along with the inaugural Build Show in 2015.

Solidor have already exhibited at Grand Designs Live in 2013 and were the first company to sign up for the 2014 event, given that over 50,000 visitors came through the doors at the NEC, Birmingham. Last year the company gave out 4,500 iPhone leaflets, each replicating the front of an iPhone to encourage homeowners to download their latest Door Designer App for iPhone and iPad.

This year’s Grand Designs Live will again be held at the NEC, Birmingham and Solidor will have a large presence on stand B699, where they will be looking to build upon their proven retail marketing campaign that was awarded G13 Promotional Campaign of the Year – Retail.

Just 6 months on and Solidor’s retail marketing campaign has further expanded to include the industry’s first Augmented Reality (AR) App, a number of new consumer videos on their YouTube channel and a Door Designer feature on their website. As at the end of July there have been 26,323 web site visits and 2,726 enquiries from consumers looking for a better composite door. All the enquiries have been passed on to a Recommended and Premium installer network of 452 companies across the UK.

While there will be no FIT Show in 2015, there will be the Build Show from the same organising team, which is aimed at the wider building and construction industry and Solidor have been one of the first to sign up for it. They will be appearing front of house in hall 3, stand 150 on a 60m2 island as they continue to lead the composite door market. The show will be on 28-30th April 2015 at the NEC, Birmingham.
