The GGF has announced that its Managing Director Giles Willson is leaving after 14 years with the Federation.
A statement from the organisation continued: “This decision has not been taken lightly especially after the high profile role Giles has undertaken within the Fenestration Industry over this period.”
Giles told The Glazine today: “I have had a fantastic 14 years with the GGF but the time has come to move on. I now intend to work on a consultancy basis for anyone in this industry that I enjoy being a part of.
In the GGF statement, he added: “I have also been privileged to represent the membership and industry with Government Ministers, MPs and other government officials as well as chairing the British Standards Committee for Windows and Doors. I will miss the Members and my colleagues.”
Nigel Rees GGF Group chief Executive replied: “I have enjoyed working with Giles over the last 14 years which has seen considerable change to the industry and the GGF. Giles has been a major contributor to a lot of these changes and he will be missed from the GGF team. We wish him all the best success in his future career”.
