Hotels selling out for the FIT Show

It is not just The FIT Show exhibition stands that have sold out for April next year; the hotels in Telford are now selling out too.
Official hotel and accommodation bureau for The FIT Show Event Express has reported that the two hotels adjacent to the Telford International Centre, home to The FIT Show from 16th to 18th April next year, are sold out with 363 bookings confirmed predominantly by exhibitors.

 Jo Parton, Marketing Manager for The Telford International Centre was keen to reassure people that there is plenty of accommodation in the area: “There are more than 3,000 rooms available within 30 minutes of the Telford International Centre and 10,000 within greater Shropshire. These range from budget to executive hotels and from quality town centre hotels to golfing hotels and country houses” she explained. “Nonetheless, the speed with which the hotels on site have been taken up is impressive,” she said.

FIT Show Operations Director Jo Smith says that she and her colleagues have not seen anything on this scale for a very long time: “We have been organising exhibitions and events in the UK for more than 30 years and we have never seen such a demand as for The FIT Show,” she commented. “Our accommodation bureau agrees. We have also been impressed with the number of companies that have contacted us to discuss their plans for their exhibition stands,” added Jo. “This is very impressive as it is months earlier than we usually expect such discussions, although it is very welcome. People are very enthusiastic about The FIT Show and want it to work for them.”

The FIT Show’s Matthew Glover urged exhibitors and visitors to book now to ensure they have the type of accommodation they want, at the right price, quality and convenience: “I realise that The FIT Show is more than seven months away but I urge all exhibitors and visitors to book their accommodation now to avoid disappointment. It would very much seem that ‘everyone’s going!’”
