Lucky 13 for Everglade Windows and Total Support Training
11th September 2012

Everglade Windows presented 13 members of its fabrication team with QCF Apprenticeship certificates at a special ceremony early this year. The lucky 13 had successfully completed the QCF qualification within a range of specialist courses for the glass and glazing industry from the Glass Qualification Authority run by Total Support Training.

Roshni Patel, HR manager at Everglade Windows, said: “Training is vital to bring the highest levels of quality to Everglade Windows products. We manufacture a wide range of windows and doors and everything that leaves the factory has to be perfect. That’s why we’ve worked closely with Total Support Training for several years. They offer us a really individual service to ensure we have the best people working at Everglade Windows.”

Total Support Training work in conjunction with the London Borough of Hillingdon and Uxbridge College to provide support and training to help the young unemployed people within the Borough obtain work within the construction industry.

“Today was a really good day as we celebrated 13 members of the Everglade Windows fabrication team obtaining QCF Apprenticeships. We couldn’t have asked for a better result,” added Roshni. “The time and effort the apprentices put into the qualifications is very impressive.”

Presenting the awards was Vinod Gopal, MD of Everglade Windows: “It gives me great pleasure to hand out these well earned awards to the team. And we have real proof it works. In our recent survey for customer satisfaction our customers gave us 100 per cent for our quality as good and excellent.”
