Dessian and REHAU share Anniversary Celebrations

As Rehau celebrates its 50th anniversary in the UK and the 25th year of PVC-U profile production at its factory in Blaenau, North Wales, it is taking the opportunity to thank all those customers who have played, and continue to play, such a significant part in its success.

One such customer is Dessian Products, based in Belfast which has been fabricating in REHAU profile since 1985.

To mark this achievement , REHAU’s Chief Executive Martin Hitchin visited Dessian’s Belfast HQ recently to present a certificate and engraved trophy to Managing Director Nigel Bothwell.

Speaking at the presentation, Martin Hitchin said:  “Dessian and REHAU have grown alongside one another in the PVC-U window and door sector and have enhanced each other’s reputations with the quality of the products they manufacture and the service they provide.

“After 27 years, the partnership is stronger than ever and Dessian remains one of our leading trade fabricators, manufacturing a truly comprehensive range of products in REHAU profile.”

Dessian Products has a factory in Belfast, a Scottish base in Cumbernauld and a dedicated sales team across the UK and Ireland.

It fabricates in both REHAU’s S706 70mm system and the REHAU Tritec 60mm system and has a capacity of up to 4000 frames per week, , with a five day turnaround on orders.

Dessian manufactures a  product range which includes standard PVC windows, doors and conservatories, as well as French doors, stable doors, composite doors, fully reversibles and tilt and turn frames.

Speaking after the anniversary presentation, Nigel Bothwell said:  “Dessian has become synonymous with REHAU over the past 27 years and we are proud to be among REHAU’s largest and longest standing customers.  We have developed a very sound business relationship with the senior management team in REHAU and we believe that our business and REHAU’s business will flourish as other extruders and fabricators exit the marketplace.

“We are keen to promote our ongoing relationship and the anniversary trophy and certificate will certainly be proudly displayed at our Belfast headquarters.”
