Conservatory Outlet Network member Pennine Home Improvements has named Children North East as its chosen charity for 2020.

The move will see all proceeds from the company’s tuck shop and other charity endeavours over the next 12 months donated directly to the Children North East team.

Managing director Jonathan Young said: “We have seen tremendous success with our charitable undertakings in recent years and we’re thrilled to be able to help Children North East wherever possible throughout 2020. It is a cause that I know so many of us here hold dearly to our hearts, so to have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people in our area was something we couldn’t turn down. We look forward to a successful and fruitful partnership.”

Carol Taylor, senior fundraiser at Children North East, added: “It's fantastic that Pennine have chosen Children North East as their Charity of the Year.  Working across the North East, our services work with babies, children, young people and families when times are hard so any donations we receive really do make life changing differences.”
