Luck of the Irish?

Windowbase has announced the launch of the only comprehensive database of Irish window companies. The new database of 1,100 window, door and conservatory firms for the whole of Ireland – north and south – is available from £599 plus VAT. Detailed information on each company profiled including up to date, verified contact details is available. A Republic of Ireland version with almost 800 firms is also on offer.

“Any company that’s doing well despite the downturn is actively marketing its products to win new business,” said Neil Parsonson, general manager of Windowbase, “and direct mail is an effective way to target prospects directly. But if you’ve ever tried to sell your products to the window, door and conservatory market in Ireland you’ll know how hard it is to track down potential customers.

“Most commercial suppliers of prospect data can only offer a small proportion of the total Irish market. During months of painstaking research, we have discovered similar shortcomings with print directories – many of which only offer a selection of firms listed and frequently telephone numbers are wrong. None of these can tell you if firms fabricate or install – and what materials they use. This lack of information has deterred many UK firms from prospecting in Ireland.

“Windowbase has addressed these issues with a database that identifies not simply who fabricates/installs but also what materials are used, details of the products (windows/doors/conservatories) the window system used, company size, email addresses and more. Ireland offers real market potential for companies in the UK. Windowbase now offers these companies a database with the information they need to start opening up this market.”
