B as Standard

Tradelink will now be offering B rated windows as standard.

“As one of the original advocates of Window Energy Ratings and the first company to achieve an A rating on a double glazed window, we have continuously developed our energy rated offerings to ensure they continue to provide cost effective solutions for our customers,” explained Bruce Morley, business development director of Tradelink Direct. “We are launching a B rating as standard, with the option of a competitively priced A rating upgrade, to give our customers everything they need to supply the green aware consumer.

“Whether we buy into ‘green’ or not, we are denying ourselves a sales opportunity if we don’t follow the only growth area available to the window industry at the moment, which is indisputably energy efficiency. Our Heatguard plus units allow us to offer a B rating with minimal increase in our material costs, while our Heatguard Thermal (Th) units allow us to provide a competitive A rated window. Both windows have Saint Gobain glass and Edgetech Super Spacer warm edge technology in our Rehau frames.”
