Swish’s Grand Designs

Swish Windows and Doors will showcase its latest range of energy efficient products at Grand Designs Show, 9-11 October, NEC, Birmingham. A wide range of high performance products will be on show, offering consumers a window solution that can considerably cut their heating bills without compromising on style.

The attendance at the show demonstrates the continued investment in the Swish brand, following a number of other shows in 2009 including Grand Designs Live London, Homebuilding and Renovating Birmingham, Homebuilding and Renovating Glasgow and coming up in November, Homebuilding and Renovating Harrogate.

“We went to the London event to challenge the preconceptions of consumers that pvcu windows are only available in white and that all pvc windows look the same,” Paul Lindsay, general manager, Swish Windows and Doors, said. “The reality is to the contrary, which is why we have really focused on colour options, shapes and energy efficiency at recent shows. I really believe we are achieving something with these recent shows and educating consumers of the range of colours, finishes and styles that are readily available from pvcu windows.”

Attending the last Grand Designs exhibition gave Swish an opportunity as a systems company, to have direct access to consumers. This provided a great insight into what they are looking for when selecting windows, doors and conservatories. Swish has also recently commissioned some consumer research, again reinforcing their investment into the Swish brand.

The A rated windows allow consumers to reduce their carbon footprint, reduce heat loss and significantly save on energy bills, all providing further sales platforms for the trade to use attract custom and close the sales cycle.
