Cut and prepped on time
Stuga has just completed the installation of one of its top-of-the-range ZX4 cutting and prepping centres to GJB Developments of Rayleigh, Essex.
Ordered in April, the ZX4 was promised for delivery at 8am on Tuesday June 30 and it turned up exactly on time. Installation and commissioning were completed by Friday July 3, and the machine is now in the operator training phase and will shortly be in full production. Operator training is a serious matter for Stuga rather than the quick run over by a service engineer that many machinery suppliers utilise.
Built totally by Stuga in its Gt. Yarmouth factory from parts all resourced in the United Kingdom the machine was completed one week prior to despatch in order to give it a full week of testing prior to being shipped to GJB. This also gave GJB staff the time and opportunity to see the machine under test conditions and familiarise themselves with the very latest version of this high output centre.
A full and detailed study is made of every requirement of the customer and signed off by all parties to ensure there are no mistakes. Stuga also carries out a safety analysis and prepare a method report to comply with health and safety requirements.
GJB has indicated that it is delighted with the new machine and the way the deal was handled from start to finish especially as they were kept informed at all times and had the opportunity to pop into Stuga at any time to see how the build was progressing.
GJB chose Stuga for its new cutting and prepping centre following the great success of the installation of their first Stuga ZX4 18 months ago.
