Training videos on website

Mila Hardware’s in-house marketing team has been constantly adding new features to its new website all year and has also incorporated training videos and a new, technical Q&A advice service.

A series of short videos now demonstrate the installation of the company’s new Ideal Flag Hinge with Mila’s technical manager Strafford Cooke showing how to jig, fix and adjust the new product. Alongside this, Strafford is also providing answers on-line to technical queries posted by visitors to the site.

Sarah Burden, Mila’s marketing communications manager who is responsible for the company’s website, said: “The videos and technical Q&As are just the latest innovations which we have added to the website in recent months. We also have product previews, a news section, a blog from our MD Richard Gyde and lots of downloadable marketing material.

“All of these are updated very regularly and are designed to make every visit to the Mila website interesting and informative. We are benchmarking the website against the very best in other industries and not just in the fenestration sector and we have still further new initiatives planned which will be revealed to customers shortly.”

Mila currently receives an average of 300 unique visitors to its website every day with 35,000 page views per month.
