Accreditation achieved
AC Yule has recently been awarded the Achilles Building Confidence Accreditation after a stringent two-day audit.
The standard, which is being called for by a number of contractors, included a review of AC Yule’s quality, health and safety, environmental, occupational, compliance with CDM, social and ethical controls, sourcing of goods, and products and plant and equipment.
Commenting on the award, Ron Milne, HSQE manager at AC Yule, stated :"This award of the Achilles Building Confidence Accreditation after a robust audit allows us to tender for works for any of the major building companies who subscribe to the scheme. Our ability to pass such a robust two day audit enforces our commitment to health and safety, quality and environmental management systems throughout our company. This additional accreditation adds to our systems which are already accredited by BSI and are continually under scrutiny and review. Our company also subscribes to CHAS and Constructionline".
Established in 1946, AC Yule has more than 60 years experience in glass, fenestration of all types and facades, employing 380 staff at sites in Aberdeen, Elgin, Livingston, Forfar, Glasgow and Boldon in the North of England.
