Innovations go on show in Aberdeen

Multi-award winning Thistle Windows and Conservatories is making the most of two of the industry’s most innovative new products in its newly updated showroom. Both unveiled by trade fabricator Glazerite Windows Ltd at the FIT Show, the New Wave slide-swing door now features as the Aberdeen site’s main entrance while the Residence 9 Flush Sash window takes pride of place inside.

“Residence 9 is the only window we have seen that would appeal to the smart residents of the West End of the city,” said Hugh Bain, Head of Sales, “and the New Wave is really attracting attention from visitors. It’s something in a class apart from some of the Bi-Folds we have seen. They are fantastic products and we know both will be very popular.”
The New Wave and Residence 9 ranges are two of the unique products introduced by Glazerite since the launch of its new Specials factory built alongside its Wellingborough HQ. Also joining them are the fabricator’s acclaimed Vertical Sliding Sash, making use of the extra space due to ever-growing demand, as well as the new VEKA Imagine Bi-Fold.

Thistle is one of Network VEKA’s most prolific trophy winners, holding no fewer than 13 of the organisation’s all-UK and all-Scotland Customer Satisfaction Awards.

Glazerite Director Jason Thompson said: “Thistle has always been among the first to introduce its customers to new and innovative products and we know the New Wave and Residence 9 ranges will go down well there.”

The New Wave may form a superb entrance for the showroom but then, as Hugh Bain concluded; “This is Aberdeen after all – we can’t wait for the better weather when we can open it up and show customers how versatile the system really is.”
