See for yourself – video shows hinge fitted in 58 seconds

Anyone who doubted Mila’s claims that its new ProSecure hinge could really be fitted straight from the box in less than a minute can now see the proof via a video which the company has posted on its own You Tube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch).

The newly recorded video shows Mila’s Technical Manager Strafford Cooke fitting the new hinge onto a PVC door in just 58 seconds – a time which Mila says is faster than any other hinge. It was recorded under test conditions at Mila’s Test Centre in Daventry and now sits alongside the other ProSecure video on the channel which focuses on the product’s features and benefits.

Strafford Cooke said: “There are no tricks or shortcuts on the video – it’s just me using the jig to drill the two holes needed on the frame and then fitting the hinge straight from the box.

“We wanted to show fabricators just how easy the whole process is and to give them some idea of just how much time they can save in their fabrication set up if they switch to ProSecure.”

In fact, Mila is so confident that the ProSecure hinge will give fabricators ‘free time’ that it is running a social media campaign (#freetime) asking them to show off how they are spending the extra minutes and hours which they gain.
