MAGNETIC GLASS WHITEBOARD FOR AMAZON

The creative teams at Amazon’s new tech’ hub in the heart of London will be the first in the UK to brainstorm new digital media ideas using Vitrio® magnetic glass whiteboards from Glassolutions.

Designed and developed by the ‘Interior Glass Specialists’ team at Glassolutions, the back-painted glass magnetic whiteboards are available in a wide range of colours and sizes – and can incorporate company logos in corporate colours. They are ideal for commercial or domestic use. Hygienic, safe, and easy to wipe clean, they provide a more robust alternative to traditional fibre whiteboards.

The world’s largest online retailer has installed 190 Vitrio® magnetic whiteboards at the Amazon Development Centre, a new digital media design and engineering hub with a global remit to work on the next generation of TV and film services for a wide range of digital devices that will benefit Amazon customers all over the world.

Supplied and fitted by Radii Partitioning, the Vitrio® magnetic whiteboards selected by Amazon are white and in two sizes: 1200mm x 2037mm and 823 x 1937mm.

They are manufactured using a toughened low-iron glass which is five time more resistant to breakage than normal glass along with superior optical qualities. This means it is an excellent base glass when applying white or coloured decoration by screen print or paint.
