WARMER, QUIETER, SAFER, TOUGHER:
10th February 2015

In their 50th year, Everest have announced a new pinnacle in window technology: their warmest ever window. Everest introduce their new and improved Triple Glazing, which not only makes their windows the warmest, but the quietest, safest and toughest available.

When it comes to energy efficiency, Everest Triple Glazing is at the top of the ranks now that they’ve earned an A+21 energy efficiency rating, compared to A+13 this time last year.  As well as draft resistant seals on the frames, heavy Argon gas fills the window to act as a great insulator for both noise and cold air, while two low-emissivity glass coatings ensure heat is reflected back into the building. Getting technical, low iron glass optimises solar heat gain and internal glazing beats to prevent break-ins – these are just some of the design features that make Triple Glazing a reality.

And it’s not just Everest’s Triple Glazing that is making a mark; almost every aspect of Everest products has been enhanced in 2015. The new Double Glazing achieves almost the same result in tests as their Triple Glazing this time last year, rising from A+10 to A+12.  A new timber range will also be introduced in a range of paint colours and stains, as well as enhanced materials to create stronger joints and more solid constructions. What’s more, 2015 will bring an even more premium design range to their products with their new Exclusive Premium Windows. From new smoothweld technology that creates almost invisible corner joints, to new colours and finishes, almost every aspect of Everest products has been enhanced.

In addition to the product range enhancements, Everest will also launch a new ‘5 star service’ where product maintenance will be available within 48 hours as a standard.
Roy Saunders, CEO of Everest, said:

“Everest has a lot to celebrate this year – we’ve reached a pinnacle in our 50 years of service to homes across the company and it also signifies how far we’ve come in window technology. Our warmest window yet heralds a turning point for us, where we will be seeing more and more homes staying warmer in the years to come. We’re very much looking forward to the next 50 years of innovation in the windows industry – who knows what that will be!”
