ritecs‘QUANTUM OF SUCCESS’ FOR RITEC’S ‘CASINO ROYALE’

Clic Sargent, the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity has benefited to the tune of 500 euros following the success of a Casino Evening held on the Ritec Hotelship during the recent Glasstec show. The onboard event proved popular with many exhibitors and visitors to the Show, who joined Ritec for a flutter on the roulette tables or to try their luck at blackjack.

As well as having fun with the casino games, guests were entertained by some spectacular sleight of hand card tricks from the croupiers. Overall winner at the end of the evening was Thomas Fich Pedersen of Electrolux, who won a magnum of champagne after amassing over 8,000 chips, and Bohle AG’s Serge Masson and Jean-Jacques Rozier were the lucky runners-up.

Moored on the Rhine, Ritec’s Hotelship has been providing a great way to relax and network after a busy day at Glasstec for the last five Shows, says International Sales and Marketing Manager, Serge Perkoff. “This was the first time we’ve hosted a Casino Evening and I’d like to thank all those who helped to make it such a success, both as a social occasion and for the Clic Sargent charity. I’d particularly like to mention our sponsors from the UK trade press, and the generous donations from Ritec’s Stephen Byers, Steve Lipscombe of Emirates Glass and Brian Waldron from the GGF. It was a really fun event and we hope to plan something even bigger and better for 2010!”
