Insight Data gears up for dramatic growth in 2009

Insight Data, the specialist data provider to the window industry, has seen major investment as it gears up to support window and conservatory suppliers.

In addition to a £100,000 investment in developing SalesTracker, the new web-based software system with the Insight database built-in, Insight has now expanded its research and management team.

Newly appointed Commercial Director Helen Costeloe-Hughes joins Insight from sister company Fenestra People, following the acquisition of Fenestra by Ten Human Resources in November. Helen commented “Insight Data has grown 400% in the last two years by providing customers with the latest market intelligence on all 13,000 window and conservatory companies, I am now delighted to spearhead the next phase of our growth.”

Meanwhile, David Lewis moves across to Research Manager, heading up a team that has now been expanded with two additional researchers; “The Insight database is the most accurate available but the market is fluctuating at a faster rate than ever – expanding our research team will ensure our customers have a competitive edge.”

The Insight Data is enables companies to pinpoint up to 13,000 potential customers, with detailed information on materials, products, preferred window/conservatory systems and volumes. The database is used by market leaders such as Veka, Doorpanels PLC, K2, Edgetech, and over 40 other companies.
