Mark Barsby joins the VEKA UK Group

The VEKA UK Group has recently welcomed Mark Barsby to its Burnley-based site, in the role of Head of Technical.

Joining the glazing industry in 1985, Mark has been in the PVC-U window systems game ever since. “At the age of 16, I went to work for my original employer for three days to earn some money before college, but I ended up there for 22 years!”

With his extensive experience working in both technical and managerial roles, Mark is well prepared for the challenges his new position will involve: “I wanted the opportunity to work for the largest PVC-U Window Systems Supplier in the UK – and I saw that chance following VEKA's acquisition of Bowater Building Products last year.”

Within his role, Mark is keen to maintain and even improve the VEKA UK Group's renowned reputation for Technical Support. “If you ask anyone in the construction and refurbishment industry, they will confirm that the VEKA UK Group is second-to-none in the technical support that it offers to clients.
