Listers enjoy 8 Years of G-Award Recognition

Lister Trade Frames of Stoke on Trent have just been selected as finalists in the National Glass and Glazing G-Awards for the eighth consecutive year. The Awards this year will be hosted by Patrick Kielty, comedian, TV and radio star, at the London Hilton Park Lane.

It’s believed that Listers’ achievement is a record in itself and is all the more impressive when considering that this is a national event where the standard of entries remains consistently high year on year and where companies actively compete to gain the top industry accolades. This year Listers are finalists in both the Customer Care and the Fabricator of the Year categories.

In 2005 Listers entered the G-Awards for the first time and they walked away as winners of the UK’s top “Fabricator of the Year” award. Not bad for a first attempt! The subsequent years have seen them chosen as finalists and winners in a variety of categories, including ‘Training & Development”, “Energy Efficiency”, “Customer Care”, “Promotional Campaign”, Health & Safety” and the highly prized “Fabricator of the Year” Award.

Listers’ Managing Director, Mark Warren, said that while winning any one of the G-Awards is an excellent prize to gain, what he is most proud of is Listers continuous drive for improvements over the years;

“You can’t expect to be shortlisted in these awards unless you have done something new and special, or have achieved something above and beyond what your competitors have done. The gala event is the only one of its kind for the UK glass and glazing industry, at which over 600 guests will enjoy a Champagne Reception, four-course dinner with wine, the Awards presentations and post-Awards entertainment, all within one of the finest venues in London, the Hilton Park Lane Hotel. It’s the Oscars of the Glazing Industry.
