Agate grey for barn conversion

Spectus fabricator ADM WINDOWS of Sheffield has completed the installation of nine Spectus Flush Casement windows in a barn conversion in Worksop. To match the barn’s timber, the windows were manufactured with an Agate Grey exterior and white foil interior.

Aaron Fountain, Director said: “I showed them pictures of the Spectus Flush Casement windows and we took it from there. The Agate Grey was an almost perfect match with the original timber windows. Black monkey tail handles completed the period look.

“Our customer wanted modern solutions that still maintained the character of their home and with the Spectus Flush Casement windows that is exactly what we have done. Our customer now has traditional-looking windows but without the maintenance of timber. Their home is much warmer and the noise levels have been reduced too. Overall, we are delighted with the success of the project, as is our customer.”
